Something about my lesson plan for visual learners
My lesson plan was prepared for visual learners. The topic was about the novel ‘Picture of Dorian Gray’. I asked my students to look at some pictures in order to describe them in the way they see them. I also prepared the trailer of that novel and showed them. They could easier learn something about that novel after they watched that trailer. PowerPoint presentation is also a good source of technology in teaching this kind of learners.
Visual learners learn by watching. They must see something if they want to remember that. They like illustrations, drawings and writings. They are good readers and they prefer to read rather to hear someone else reading to them. They are neat, organized. The talk faster, observe details and they have a long-term planning. They remember faces very well. They have a sense for colors and can have some artistic fondness. The noise does not bother them.
A few things about my presentations
Hello
everybody :)
I have made
PowerPoint and Prezi Presentations about early learners. That was one of the
topics that we had to search for our subject Apllied Linguistics. The child’s
brain at an early age is like a sponge. It absorbs knowledge very quickly and
easy. Early childhood development is important to all of us. Language
acquisition is in children’s nature. Children are motivated enough to acquire
language without conscious learning, unlike adolescents and adults.
It is much
easier to talk about some topics while using technology. These presentations are very dynamic and interesting ways of increasing our capacity to present
visual material such as graphics, words and pictures. This only shows that the
use of technology in education becomes very important factor nowadays.

Useful writing/reading web links :)
Internet is full of many exercises that can improve our knowledge about different things. In this post, we should find some useful web links that include exercises connected with writing or reading. I found some interesting and here are some of them:
http://www.eslgold.com/reading/exercises.html - When you enter this website, you can see that there are some short reading exercises. You can pick some of them. When you choose one particular text/article you are presented with some vocabulary from that article. You have the opportunity to answer some pre-reading questions, and after you read the article you also have some more questions to answer. These kinds of exercises are very useful because they show how much you could understand from the reading part.
http://www.practicalcreativewriting.com/creative-writing-exercises/ - I found this website very interesting because we are presented with some useful tips that can help us in our creative writing skills. We can also find many interesting exercises on this web site.
http://englishteststore.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=236&Itemid=286 - there are some texts that need to be read. And there are some questions that need to be answered
